St. Andrea Hangács Egri Bikavér Grand Superior 2022

It has a deep ruby colour. The medium-intensity nose is full of delicious, juicy fruit, such as red and black cherries, blue plums, and blackberries. As if plucked straight from a tree. The aroma is complemented by barrel spices, cinnamon and cloves. On the palate, the fruit leads the experience, with flavours of blue plum, blackberry and black cherry. The acidity, alcohol and tannin are nicely balanced. Persistent finish. A superb Bikavér from the volcanic soil of the Hangács vineyard. It’s a wine that doesn’t need to be deciphered and is a pleasure to drink on its own.
