Medium straw yellow colour. The nose reveals salty and mineral notes, with the volcanic terroir appearing in a floral complexity of flint and linden blossom. Deep and layered in structure, the palate is balanced and harmonious with moderate acidity. Alongside cypress, quince, pear, and gooseberry also emerge on the palate. Barrel fermentation and ageing bring exciting yet restrained oak notes in harmony with the wine. Medium-bodied, with an oily texture and a long finish.
The wine won Gold medal at the Mundus Vini and Berliner Wein Trophy wine competition.
