Kancellár Estate is one of the youngest wineries in the Somló wine region. Ferenc Horváth, the chancellor of the Somló and Surroundings Wine Road Association and the Order of Wine Knights, started the winery with 11 hectares of vineyards together with his family members. Today they cultivate 22 hectares planted with the typical varieties of the Somló region.
Somló wine can only be produced responsibly. We are committed to the terroir. In addition to geological, climatic and other characteristics, we believe that the terroir includes the respect for the grapes and the wine of the people who work here, as well as their rich experience.
